Lemko is delighted to congratulate TelAlaska’s 11 years of continued cellular operation. TelAlaska deployed Lemko’s Node1™ and based system to offer cellular services beginning in 2009.
Lemko’s unique distributed architecture provides TelAlaska with the most economical network platform to operate in some of the most challenging locations in U.S. One of the key attributes of Lemko’s Node1™ mobile infrastructure is that there is no single point of failure in the network which is very critical in a region like Alaska. The sites are deployed in very remote areas where on-site maintenance is a huge challenge as only three of the 24 Alaskan communities that TelAlaska’s serve are accessible by road. TelAlaksa has been using Lemko Node2 solution to enable roaming functionality with a Tier1 carrier in USA.
