Lemko Corporation has demonstrated the world’s first cloud-virtualized, end-to-end fourth generation SAE/LTE solution. Lemko’s patented, fully distributed architecture allows operators to deliver LTE cellular data to users over an IP network by extending the cloud out to the cellular tower.

Lemko’s radio access system supports multiple air interfaces within a single base station, meaning operators may upgrade to LTE from their GSM, CDMA and/or UMTS network.

Lemko solutions are based on their commercially available 4G Distributed Mobile Architecture or DMA. DMA delivers the all IP, packet-switched solution defined by the industry as System Architecture Evolution or SAE for next generation mobile networks. By combining DMA with a multi-mode base station, operators may deploy LTE swiftly at minimal cost.

“Our LTE solution provides the speed and capacity necessary to support high speed data traffic volumes”, states Chris White, Senior Vice President, Lemko Corporation. “By placing network intelligence at each cell site, the user experience is dramatically improved. This solution is dramatically less expensive than traditional cellular network approaches.”
